Darkness falls across the land, the midnight hour is close at hand
Creatures crawl in search of blood to terrorize y’all’s neighborhood
And whosoever shall be found without the soul for getting down
Must stand and face the hounds of hell and rot inside a corpse’s shell
Before I moved, I used to go pick my own strawberries and if you have never had a sun warmed berry picked fresh off the plant you don’t know what you are missing. I am sure I came out at least 5 pounds heavier due to the “one for the basket, two for my mouth” scenario that was going on. June is prime strawberry month and that has come and gone for the year. You can, however, get your Second Life strawberry fix at the upcoming round of Redeux. It starts on the 14th and promises to be filled with delicious goodies like this adorable top and skirt by Faida and this perfect sized strawberry patch complete with animations by United InshCon. The event runs from the 14th thru the 21st. Be sure to come check out all the great things.
The fun thing about Second Life is being able to do things we might not in our real lives. I usually stay pretty true to my real life self in the game but wanted to try something a little more daring and I have to say this shoot was a lot of fun. I was truly surprised by the amount of choices I had in risque attire (or lack there of). Second Life and blogging are both great ways to use your imagination and do something crazy! Try it…you might like it!
I traveled back to Michigan last week and made a quick stop by one of my favorite places…its a park….a very small park..if you could even call it that. There is parking for just a couple of cars, a small gazebo and one standard grill that has seen better days. The best thing about it though, is the creek that runs through it. The water is crystal clear and the bottom is a nice mix of rock and sand, perfect for wading. There are trees and wildflowers along both sides and its just so cute and peaceful. I will be back there in a couple of months for a wedding and the fall colors will be in full force. I will, once again, make time to stop and enjoy the cold water and the crisp fall air.
